08/31/2013 Sarah. Love love love this skirt! So flattering and the perfect length since I love longer skirts(so I don't have to shave all my legs). This skirt is so versatile and a fabric that isn't too heavy nor too paper thin. The waist is a bit tight though so I'm giving it four stars instead of five.
08/31/2013 Stephanie. An adorable skirt, but it seems to run small and sits very high on my natural waist while still hitting just bellow my knee. Usually I order an XL, but to be safe, I thought I would order a 1X and I must have mistakenly hit 2X, but it worked out because it is tighter than I would prefer. There is no stretch in the fabric, but it feels soft and durable. When sitting it flares very cutely around and is also fun to spin in. The white ribbon is also textured which is cute. the closure in the back is probably my only complaint because it is so visible. The zipper is a hidden style zipper, but at the top is a button tab. It is easily covered with a belt or a top though. All in all I would by again.
08/31/2013 Jance. I agree that this is a skirt that every girl should own. The A-line fit is very flattering and it is fun to twirl in ;D Very feminine and pretty piece. It was a bit tighter around the tummy then I had expected - just a note.
08/31/2013 Marisa. This skirt is high quality and fits like a glove! I don't own or wear skirts often, but with this being the perfect length and comfortable, I could wear is everyday (I'm a bit tempted to) without fear of flashing anyone or it falling apart.
08/31/2013 Katira. Love love love this skirt!! It is very pretty and feminine. I wore it with a cream colored top and the peacock shoes that I bought from Modcloth, and got tons of compliments.
08/31/2013 Michelle. Oh. My. Goodness!! I don't know if it's actually possible for me to love this skirt any more than I already do! It is so lovely and can easily be dressed up or down, and fits like an absolute dream. The skirt falls just below my knees so is perfect to wear in the office also. The colour is gorgeous, however the ribbon along the bottom is more cream than white. The fabric is great quality but can be a little on the light side if it's breezy, so just remember to be on guard when walking outside so you don't do a Marilyn Munroe down the street!
08/31/2013 Stephanie. I couldn't love this skirt more! It fits so perfectly and moves so beautifully when you walk. I wore it to work today with a 1940s creme top with lace sleeves and have received so many compliments. So happy with this purchase!
08/31/2013 Ashley. Very cute skirt to wear with a blouse and cardigan for work. Hits just past the knee. I usually wear a L but sized up to an XL, because there were no L's in stock and I am glad I did. This has become a staple in my wardrobe.
08/31/2013 Cynthia. This is my go-to skirt. I really love the length- just below the knees. The waist fits perfect and a bit snug when I tuck a shirt into it. The fabric is good and has some weight to it, which helps give a good shape.
08/31/2013 Catherine. I love, love love that skirt. I wore it for the first time today and got so many compliments about it. The quality is excellent despite not being lined and it's perfect for spring wear. The only thing I'd say is the medium seems a little small at the waist.
08/31/2013 Elizabeth. I love this skirt. Its gorgeous, great fabric, fits where it should, and the stripe adds just the right flair of sass to it. It hangs nicely on its own; adding crinoline gives it a beautiful sweep and a traditional silhouette. I could see it on an adult teacher, a spunky office professional, or a rockabilly like me in a semi-professional environment. I always try to find one fault with things when I review to be productive, but all I have is that the button in the back isn't sewn on super well; I anticipate needing to fix that. I recommend the heck out of this one, to any and all.
01/08/2013 Myriam. Beautiful very elegant ...
12/13/2012 Ashley. This skirt is perfect!! The fit is great, and the cut is so flattering! The material is light enough to move nicely, but heavy enough to feel durable, and there's just enough room to tuck in a shirt.
12/13/2012 Katherine. As soon as the skirt arrived, it became my favorite! It fit perfectly, has great movement, and I love the weight of the material. It's so twirly and feminine, I wish I could more like it in other colors!
12/13/2012 Emily. Made in America. Fits *perfectly* at my waist. Falls an inch or two below my knee. Fabric is good quality and does not look like it will have to be ironed frequently. The way the dress is cut is flattering to women (like me...) with flatter behinds and saddlebag thighs. It covers things elegantly. Very pleased!!!
12/13/2012 Eva. I was very happy to see this was 'Rock Steady' brand when my skirt arrived, as I have bought lots of their stuff in the past and always been very happy with it. For anyone who has the 'high waisted thrills' skirt in black or red, this is pretty much the same cut in navy. I found it ran a little small, but like the other reviewer said, the button can be moved approx. 2-3cm for a little extra room. One other thing to consider is that the ribbon along the bottom is most definitely ivory/cream. This doesn't bother me and I intend to wear this in all its sailor-ish glory!
12/13/2012 Nayeli. it does not stretch at all. so its a bit tight around my waist. but i can fix that by moving the button around for better comfort. its a thick fabric. not see through at all. and its heavy! i feel so girly in it.
